Certificate of Completion of Training

 

  • Progression through the 6 years will depend upon achieving passes in examinations, essential clinical competencies, success in In-Training Viva Assessments and satisfactory formal Supervisor Reports by appointed Supervisors of Training and Heads of Department.

  • Trainees will undergo clinical rotations in subspecialty anaesthesia and formal In-Training Assessments. They are expected to record their clinical practice and academic activities in their Personal Development Plan, logbook, undertake a research project and attend recommended courses.
  • Training will not be considered complete until a formal review has taken place, this will then lead to the recommendation for CCT and gazettement as a Specialist in Anaesthesiology in Malaysia and registration in National Specialist Register.

  • Criteria for recommendation for Certification of Completion of Training (CCT) are:

    • Obtained Pass in MCAI and FCAI Examinations

    • Minimum four (4) satisfactory In-Training Viva Assessments

    • Completed and presented research project

    • Satisfactory Supervisor Reports

    • Completed Log book

    • Completed WBA (DOPS, CbD)
