Progression through the 6 years will depend upon achieving passes in examinations, essential clinical competencies, success in In-Training Viva Assessments and satisfactory formal Supervisor Reports by appointed Supervisors of Training and Heads of Department.
Training will not be considered complete until a formal review has taken place, this will then lead to the recommendation for CCT and gazettement as a Specialist in Anaesthesiology in Malaysia and registration in National Specialist Register.
Criteria for recommendation for Certification of Completion of Training (CCT) are:
Obtained Pass in MCAI and FCAI Examinations
Minimum four (4) satisfactory In-Training Viva Assessments
Completed and presented research project
Satisfactory Supervisor Reports
Completed Log book
Completed WBA (DOPS, CbD)
